Durham Classic Tournament

On Feb 21, our academy represented at the Durham Classic Tournament. This was a day filled with tough competition, hard fought matches, great moments, and plenty of learning opportunities. We are honoured and humbled by the sportsmanship that was displayed and are proud to report that our team was able to secure 15 medals! Congratulations to all our competitors and we thank everyone for being a part of our outstanding community!
Canadian Nationals Tournament 2026


On Sunday February 8th, our academy had the chance to represent at the 2026 Canadian Jiu-Jitsu National Championship. It was a day where our athletes showed great dedication, focus and hard work and we are so incredibly proud of all the students who participated. The day was especially sweet because out of the five competitors we were able to bring home 2 silver and 1 gold medal overall! Finally, we wanted to take this moment to extend a special congratulations to Henry Hargrave who fought with great spirit and was able to qualify for Team Canada! I know you will join us in showing your support to him and his family should they choose to represent Four-Eleven at the JJIF World Championships in Dubai later this year!

In-House Tournament and Bake Sale

On November 29th we hosted our Fall In-House Tournament and Bake Sale. It was an exciting opportunity for our community to come together to support our students. The professors, coaches and families are beyond proud of all the students who participated, as it was very clear every athlete is continuing to improve and they all put in their best efforts and never gave up! It was so nice to see everyone cheering and encouraging friendly and respectful competition, and also enjoying treats from the bake sale. Our community never fails to demonstrate a sense of sportsmanship that is beyond exemplary. Thank you once again to all those who came out over the weekend and helped to make our day such a success!

PETERBOROUGH OPEN TOURNAMENT

Finally, We would like to take this opportunity to say a big congratulations to all those who participated in the Peterborough Open Tournament last weekend. We are excited to share that our 16 competitors were able to secure 23 medals which placed our academy 2nd in the team standings! The sportsmanship, dedication, and hard work that each of you showed represented our academy with honour and we could not be more proud of all of you!

TORONTO OPEN TOURNAMENT


This past weekend was one full of hard work and celebration!! We are very proud to share with you that at the Toronto Open Tournament, our own Professor Adio competed and won Gold in his division! We are also excited to announce that Logan Birr also had his hard work pay off when he too, won Gold in his division!! We have the best community here at Four-Eleven and I know you will all join us in congratulating Professor and Logan. We are certainly honoured to have you all with us and look forward to more tournaments to come!

NATIONAL PRIDE!

Four-Eleven has always been proud of all of our students and competitors during the many tournaments we have attended and the Canadian Nationals tournament on June 8th was no exception. We are excited to share that Sean Spence became the National Champion for Adult Blue Belts! In addition, our own Professor Adio brought home a Bronze Medal and will be an alternate for Team Canada! Congratulations Coach Sean and Professor Adio! We are honoured to have you both as teachers and inspirations to us all!

Ontario Open Tournaments


On May 3rd & 4th our academy was represented at the Ontario Open BJJ Tournament by our exceptional team of competitors. These two days were filled with tough competition, hard fought matches, great moments, and plenty of learning opportunities. We are honoured and humbled by the sportsmanship that was displayed and are proud to report that our team was able to secure 13 medals! We are so grateful to all our members and hope that even more competitors will be able to join us at future tournaments. In-House Tournament and Bake Sale

On Saturday March 29th, Four-Eleven came together for some friendly competition at our Spring In-House Tournament and Bake Sale! It was a great day full of excitement, challenges, triumphs and delicious treats! We thank everyone who helped out and to all those who participated, we are so proud of the hard work everyone displayed! Thank you as well to all those who contributed to our Bake Sale! The treats were delicious and it was great to see all the families enjoying that together. We had an outstanding turn out and congratulate all of our competitors and hope to see even more of you at our next In-House!

Ottawa BJJ Open

Over the weekend of Feb 22nd, Four-Eleven represented at the Ottawa BJJ Open. It was an incredible weekend full of triumphs, hard fought battles, and awesome learning opportunities. We are beyond proud of all of our competitors and are honoured that they worked to bring home 3 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 4 bronze medals! We cannot thank all of our students enough for being part of our outstanding community and for helping Four-Eleven become a strong competitive leader. We are honoured daily by all your efforts and we look forward to seeing even more of you compete throughout this year!

OJA Provincials

Over this past weekend, we had 6 athletes compete at the OJA Provincials, the final tournament of 2024. Everyone competed well and put in their best efforts and we brought back 2 medals (1 gold 1 bronze). We are incredible proud of the courage and efforts that all of our athletes displayed, and we look forward to the continued growth and results in 2025!
